MEET MIKE MOLLOY
The owner of Emergency First Aid Training (EFAT) is retired Meaford Fire Chief, Mike Molloy, with over 27 years in the fire services. EFAT was first established in 2002 and, as a Red Cross training partner, has provided training to individuals, businesses, and fire departments throughout Owen Sound, The Blue Mountains, Collingwood, and Meaford.
EFAT knows that emergencies can happen at any time, and they are proud to teach the lifesaving skills necessary to respond quickly and with confidence. All EFAT instructors are first responder firefighters and paramedics.
First aid training is also a requirement of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), with which most businesses in Ontario are required to be registered. The majority of the courses that EFAT offers are a hybrid of online instruction, followed by a session of in-person training to properly demonstrate correct first aid techniques. This means that employers and staff can learn the skills they need to ensure a safe workplace, with minimum time away from the workplace.
Contact EFAT for information, and to find a course that works for you.
